Another year has fallen to ash and memory, and yet we remain, not because eternity is kind, but because we have endured its cruelty and carved our place within it. This night carries a deeper weight for me, for it is not only the turning of the year, but the eve of the union Morrigan and I forged long ago, a covenant born not of softness, but of truth, fire, and iron resolve. Our love was never meant to be a fairytale. It was forged like a blade, tempered through war, separation, devotion, and sacrifice. It has protected this bloodline, challenged it, strengthened it, and at times demanded more of us than comfort would allow. I am proud of that. I am proud of every one of you who has chosen to remain, to commit, to stand as part of something greater than yourselves.
