A New Clan Rises Within Harbingers of Blood
7th day of February, the Year of our Source 2026
A new chapter has quietly and deliberately opened within the Harbingers of Blood.
By direct grant of the Source, a new clan has been recognized and formed. The clan, known as Sanguis Novus, rises from House International House of Pancakes, under the leadership of Neo Rookstown. The grant was issued under exceptional circumstances and announced publicly by the Source in a declaration made to the realm, reflecting both the rarity of the moment and the care with which it was undertaken.
In the Source’s own words, this was not an act born of a single cause, but of convergence. A favor extended to Arch Zoe, recognition of longstanding supporters who have stood with the realm through time and turmoil, and the deliberate choice to acknowledge a player seeking transformation and renewal all weighed together. None alone would have been sufficient. Together, and with intention, they opened the door.
Sanguis Novus enters the realm under a one-year period of guided formation. This time is not one of confinement or suspicion, but of grounding, growth, and becoming. The clan stands within the care and stewardship of Arch Zoe during this period, with its place held securely among Harbingers of Blood. A single, narrowly defined contingency exists regarding stewardship during this time, known to the parties involved and not indicative of uncertainty or instability.
Questions have already arisen, as they often do, regarding bloodline alignment. Upon examination, Neo Rookstown and his clan may appear to bear markers associated with another lineage. This has been reviewed and affirmed. Neo is, without ambiguity, Harbingers of Blood. The blood he carries is that of Arch Trinity, and by blood, by oath, and by recognition, he and his clan are protected accordingly. They are family.
The Source, anticipating the attention such a grant invites, addressed the realm directly, acknowledging that rare acts of recognition draw scrutiny as well as hope. Support, history, and trust were among the considerations, but not the sole measure. This decision was shaped by context, character, and the belief that leadership is something that can be cultivated rather than denied.
Sanguis Novus is not being set apart as a test, but welcomed as a beginning. Leadership is not forged through isolation, but through belonging, responsibility shared in community, and the chance to step fully into one’s name.
Harbinger News extends recognition to Neo Rookstown and to the members of Sanguis Novus. May this year be one of coherence, steadiness, and purpose, and may the blood that binds also guide.
Some doors open with thunder.
Others open because it is time.
